Entry / Junior Software Sales and Marketing Position 


We would like to have someone that can join our Business Development Team who can help accelerate our pipeline, assist in executing marketing campaign follow-up, set up and deliver informative sales presentations and web demos with prospects, and provide an immediate and positive impact on our company’s bottom line. This position reports to the Founder / CEO.

The ideal candidate has a positive, entrepreneurial, get-it-done attitude, a friendly demeanor, a strong / independent work ethic, and an interest in learning how RTS is improving the immigration process by leveraging technology. As a revenue driver on our team, we expect our Business Development Representatives to make the most of every call / meeting / demo, make mistakes along the way, learn from them, and make our prospecting and qualifying efforts all the more stronger.

What the Business Development Rep Does

  • Establish contact and initial relationships with marketing-sourced leads / prospect lists and consult with them on product fit.
  • Develop and qualify opportunities through prospecting calls and emails, Internet research, web demos of RTS products, needs analysis, and defining client requirements.
  • Create and manage a pipeline of viable product sales opportunities.
  • Strategically cover an assigned territory / list to accelerate our sales funnel and improve our market coverage.
  • Meet and exceed performance goals (don’t worry, they’re achievable).

What We Require for Consideration

  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Communication skills; on the phone, over email, via LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • A positive attitude and a self-directed work ethic.

Things That Will Excite Us About You

  • Prior sales experience selling to small and mid-sized law firms, nonprofit organizations (not required).
  • Interest in working in an entrepreneurial / start-up environment with increasing opportunities to grow your skills.
  • A basic understanding of U.S. Immigration current events.
  • An interest in growing into a more senior role.
