• Road to Status charges a software service fee for access to our immigration application preparation platform.
• Application filing package includes all necessary and completed USCIS forms, custom generated filing instructions made for each unique applicant, and an optional application package legal review by a network partner immigration attorney.
• Licensed Immigration Attorney Reviews are available on select application packages. Add a “Peace of Mind” application review to any application package offered for a low flat fee.

• If you have a conditional green card (2-year green card that is usually given through marriage), you must file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions with USCIS to have the conditions on your residence removed before the green card expires. You should apply during the 90 days before your second anniversary as a conditional resident.
• Using Road to Status’s software, prepare your petition and use our instructions to gather the evidence you need to support your petition. Once everything is ready, you will submit it to USCIS for review.
• If USCIS determines that additional information is needed, you may receive a Request for Evidence.
• Once USCIS has received your application, they will send you a notice for a biometrics appointment where they will take your photo and fingerprints. They may also send you a notice for an interview at your local USCIS office, but this is not always the case.
• Once your petition is approved, USCIS will mail you a non-conditional 10 year Green Card (Permanent Resident Card).

You may be eligible to remove conditions on your green card if you:

• Are still married to the same U.S. citizen or permanent resident who petitioned for you after 2 years;
• Are a child and cannot be included in your parents’ application;
• Are a widow or widower who married in good faith;
• Entered into your marriage in good faith, but the marriage ended through divorce, annulment, or death; or
• Entered into your marriage in good faith, but either you or your child were battered or subjected to extreme hardship by your U.S.-citizen or permanent-resident spouse.

• • • You should submit your application within 90 days of your Conditional Green Card’s expiration date.
    • Both you and your spouse must jointly file to remove conditions from your green card.
    • Or, you can apply to waive the joint filing requirement if you are no longer married to your spouse, or if you have been battered or abused by your U.S. citizen or lawful permanent-resident spouse or parent, or if your U.S. citizen spouse has died.
    • It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you submit your petition to remove conditions before your conditional green card expires. If your green card expires and you have not submitted your application, you could lose your permanent resident status, and in extreme cases, be forced to leave the United States.
