Q: Is Road to Status™ a law firm?

A: Road to Status, LLC is not a law firm. The information and services presented are not legal advice and do not substitute the advice, guidance or recommendation that a licensed immigration attorney can provide. Road To Status, LLC is a private software company that offers self-help services at the user’s direction. If you are looking for printable blank forms, they are available for free at www.uscis.gov.

 

Q: Is Road to Status™ affiliated or associated with any government agency or bureau?

A: No. Road to Status is not affiliated with USCIS or any other government agency or website. Pricing for application preparation services do not include any government application, biometric or filing fees. That said, key members of our team have held prominent roles with the immigration arm of Department of Homeland Security.

Q: How much does it cost to use Road to Status?

A: Depending on the application package you chose, there are different fees associated with your final application. The government application and biometric fees for each application vary and are clearly denoted in each respective application package. Roadtostatus.com charges a software service fee (fees for each application package are clearly stated on each package offering) for access to our immigration software platform. Select application packages may include fees for an immigration attorney review. Many forms found on Road to Status™ are free to use. Q: What if I’m not sure which application package I need?

A: Our qualification technology is designed to help you navigate your Road to Status by answering simple questions about your current situation, recent history, and immigration status. Q: Is RTS a substitute / replacement for an immigration attorney?

A: No. RTS is not a replacement for the services and advice of an immigration attorney. Every case is different and if you think that you might benefit from speaking to an immigration attorney, RTS is here to help and can connect you to one by request. Your information is private and you will only share info that you approve.

 

Q: How Will I Know If My Application Was Received by USCIS?

A: The USCIS will send you an e-Notification via email ONLY IF you complete Form G-1145 and paper clip it to the front of your application package. In all cases, USCIS will mail you a paper notification (Form I-797c) which is a Notice of Action. This receipt provides official notice that your forms were received and states your official receipt number and the office processing your case.
