Road To Status, LLC is adding a Chicago based Immigration Attorney / Legal Analyst (1-3+ Yr. Experience) to help with the expansion and execution of our business operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and is looking to make an immediate and measurable impact. 1-3+ years work experience at an immigration law practice, immigration work at a non-profit, immigration paralegal work, or volunteer work in the immigration space is a HUGE plus. Position is full-time -OR-freelance hourly depending on applicants availability and flexible up to 30-40+ hours per week.  The position calls for someone with a “get it done” mindset who can manage multiple tasks and work streams on deadline.

Range of Responsibilities / Projects

  • Writing and reviewing external facing content regarding the immigration application process
  • Research on immigration law, processes, and procedures
  • Development of best practices / communication workflows for applicant intake
  • Analyst will support development staff as internal advisor and quality assurance lead to ensure that our online tools, questionnaires, and marketing materials are compliant, factually correct, and of the highest possible quality
  • Analyst will work with our internal / external counsel as needed to help project manage and execute project based assignments that are sensitive to our core business

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Law degree / immigration focus –OR -equivalent work related experience
  • Motivated self-starter with 1-3+ years’ experience working on immigration cases
  • Must be analytical with a strong understanding of immigration concepts
  • Able to smoothly and efficiently manage projects, work against tight deadlines, and manage multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Able to keep supervisor and senior leadership informed of key milestones and project status
  • Able to take and follow direction, receive feedback and apply that feedback to other tasks

Responsibilities may expand based on candidate’s demonstrated experience and needs of the company. This position is based in Chicago and available now.
