Road to Status Speaks with Ujjwal Gupta, COO / Founder of BenchPrep
Turnout at the Immigrant Heritage Month launch party was amazing and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to interview several inspiring Chicago-based immigrant entrepreneurs during the event. One notable attendee was Benchprep’s Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Ujjwal Gupta. We were lucky to sit down with Ujjwal as he shared some of his thoughts about immigrant entrepreneurship and the challenges and opportunities associated with the immigration process as a whole.
Ujjwal has been with Benchprep since 2010 as COO. Prior to founding BenchPrep, Ujjwal started several companies across several industries, including nanotechnology, rural technology, and events management. He obtained a PhD in Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University and a BS/MS from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
“I love the concept of Road to Status,” says Ujjwal, “I think it’s going to solve so many people’s real problems. Immigration is a huge, huge obstacle for a lot of people.”
“You are solving a billion dollar problem”
